Rock climbing in nature

As a beginner, you'll discover the basics of climbing on a rock face, accompanied by an experienced instructor. Secured by a rope, you learn that climbing on rock is a whole new experience.

Do you have experience with climbing, but don't know how to climb on lead yet? Our guides are happy to explore the climbing area with you. Together you will see which routes are best suited in terms of character and level.

Along the Ésera River

Many of the well-known climbing areas are located along the Ésera River. The amazing rock formations were created by erosion of this river or its distributary channels.

The areas of Foradada del Toscar, Olvena, Congosto de Ventamillo and Sacs are popular due to their phenomenal walls and accessibility. But also the lesser-known walls in, for example, Sahún-Eriste, Ampriu, Zurita and Baldellou offer many possibilities.

All year-round and independent climbing

Many of the rock faces in our valley are oriented to the south. This allows you to practice rock climbing all year round. In terms of temperature, climbing might be even more convenient in the colder months than in summer. In summer we advise you to start early in the morning or later in the afternoon.

Are you experienced and do you want to climb independently with your own equipment? We're happy to give you tips about the areas. We also have various topos that you can use.
