The rates listed are indicative and per person. The price mentioned on the site is based on a group of 4 participants. For 2 persons, you should take into account an additional cost of about € 100 pp, since the cost of the guide is then not shared with 4 persons, but with 2.

Period
You can book the winter trekking in the Posets-Maladeta Natural Park in the months of December, January, February, March and April.
Do you want to experience the mountains in winter? This snowshoe hike offers a special way to explore them: The quiet of the snow-covered landscape, the fresh mountain air, and the soft crunch of snow under your feet. While these trails can be busy in summer, winter brings a peaceful calm. In this part of the Pyrenees, the weather is often clear and sunny, making it perfect for outdoor activity.

Minimum age and difficulty
This winter trek is suitable for children aged 10–12 and older. Not sure if it’s this trek is suitable for your kids? Feel free to reach out via WhatsApp or give us a call.
The trek is accessible to anyone with basic fitness. No prior snowshoe experience is needed, as your guide will teach you the proper technique on the first day.
Want it a bit easier or more challenging? Hiking with a local mountain guide means the route can be adjusted to suit the group’s pace and abilities along the way.
Walking time
In the day-to-day descriptions, the 'actual walking time' is mentioned. By this we mean the time spent moving on a route, without counting breaks or stops. This walking time is calculated at an average pace of 3.5 kilometers per hour, which includes ascents and descents.
Accompanied by a mountain guide
This winter trek is led by a certified mountain guide—and that’s what makes the experience special! Your guide knows the area of the trek well, selects the most beautiful and safest routes, and stays fully aware of current snow and weather conditions.
Along the way, the guide teaches you everything about snowshoeing, the winter landscape, and the local nature and culture, so you can enjoy the adventure without any worries about navigation or conditions.
Booking
After making a reservation for the winter trek, we will send you a booking confirmation. This confirmation will contain a link to your personal booking environment. Six to eight weeks before arrival you will receive all necessary information (e.g. overview accommodations, meeting times, packing list, etc.).
Payments
To confirm your reservation, we ask you to make a deposit through your personal booking environment. Six weeks before arrival you will receive a request to make the final payment.
