Our trips are standardly self-guided: you hike independently, following the route at your own pace using route information and a hiking map or GPS on your phone. Before departure, Chill-Outdoor will send you a welcome letter with the routes and instructions for your trek. You are responsible for your own preparation, navigation, and for ensuring that the route matches your physical and technical abilities.
Prefer to hike with a mountain guide?
That’s possible, with local Dutch- or English-speaking mountain guides. Having a guide can be helpful if it’s your first multi-day trek or if you’re hiking with children. The guides know the area well and can adapt the route to match the group’s pace and hiking level, ensuring everyone enjoys the trek comfortably.
In addition to navigation and logistics, your guide shares fascinating insights about the region’s culture, nature, and history, enriching your experience along the way. This way, you can enjoy the natural surroundings without worrying about planning or directions.
