Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Super aanrader.

Mallos de Riglos

Read the day-to-day itinerary below
Start - Day 1

Welcome to the Mallos de Riglos
On your arrival day, you can check in at the inn from 3 p.m. onwards. Visit the mountain village of Riglos. The gigantic rock formations - called 'los Mallos de Riglos' - will amaze you. In the evening, a Spanish three-course dinner is served.

The students sleep in a 6- or 8-persons room, with private bathroom. Teachers and drivers can choose single or double rooms.

Day 2

Kayaking and the castle of Loarre
Ready for some adrenaline? Have a good breakfast, because today you will go kayaking on the RĂo GĂĄllego. With a professional guide, you will descend a river with some great rapids.

At noon you will have lunch at the inn and and in the afternoon you will visit the castle of Loarre. In the past, this fortress served as an important defensive site of the Aragonese kingdom. It is one of the oldest and best-preserved Romanesque fortresses in Spain.

Day 3

Mountain hiking & climbing route
In the morning you'll go for a beautiful circular hike at the Mallos de Riglos. A spectacular, red-colored rock formation. Did you know...? Riglos is a natural paradise for rock climbers from all over the world. It's also home to one of the most important griffon vulture colonies in Europe.

Lunch is served in the inn and in the afternoon the students will be challenged on a climbing and abseiling circuit. During this circuit, the guides teach you various climbing and rope techniques.

You will also make an easy hike to the Mallos de AgĂŒero, the "smaller sister" of the Mallos de Riglos.

Day 4

Whitewater rafting & San Juan de la Peña
This morning the favourite activity of many students is on the program: rafting! The waves of the GĂĄllego River require good teamwork. In a 7 - 9 person boat, you will descend the wildly flowing river with a guide. Do you overwin all the rapids or does the boat capsize?

At noon you will picnic at the rafting company (they have a pool!). There the group will be picked up to visit the monastery of San Juan de la Peña. During this afternoon excursion you will see the most important monastery in Aragón.

End - Day 5

Goodbye or are you up for more adventure!?
In the standard package this is your departure day, but you can extend this 'outdoor week for students' with one or more days and/or activities if you wish. There is plenty to explore!

On your departure day you will receive a picnic lunch for the road.
