At the point where the Cinca and Ara rivers confluence, lies the picturesque village of Aínsa. The village consists of two parts: the commercial and modern part, created around the intersection of roads with shops and restaurants, and the old part on the hill, the medieval core.
The old village, is on the list of "most beautiful villages in Spain" and is characterised by its ancient cobblestone streets, fortified walls, imposing castle, and charming facades that encircle the village square.
Aínsa serves as an excellent base to undertake all kinds of outdoor activities. It's also a gateway to the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park. And did you know that Aínsa is home to the Zona Zero area? It's recognised as one of the best mountain biking destination in Europe.
