Did you know that the highest mountains in the Pyrenees are located in our area? The tallest peak is Aneto, standing at 3,404 meters, followed by Posets (3,375 m) and Monte Perdido (3,355 m). Together, they form the three iconic summits of this majestic mountain range.
Beyond these towering peaks, the Pyrenees are also home to other extraordinary natural phenomena. For example, this region contains some of Spain’s last remaining glaciers, including those of Aneto and Monte Perdido. These remnants of the Ice Age create a rare and rapidly disappearing landscape.
The region is also known for its spectacular rock formations. From steep limestone cliffs to granite peaks. These rock structures tell the story of millions of years of geological changes.
Would you like to explore these landscapes on foot? We offer both one-day and multi-day tours.
