1. How can I book a trip?

Book your trip easily and quickly in our booking program. Go to the page of your desired trip and click on 'price inquiry'. Go through the steps in the booking program:

  1. Choose which accommodation you want to stay in
  2. Fill in which period you want to come and with how many people
  3. Please indicate which of the three options apply on your fellow travellers: baby / kid / adult
  4. You can add your desired activities in the next steps and possibly add additional meals, for the entire travel party or per guest. The price will automatically adjust accordingly.
  5. Did you fill out everything? Then you will get a complete overview of your trip with the package for each guest and the corresponding price.
  6. If you would like to book the trip, send the request.
  7. Upon receipt of your request, we will confirm within 24 hours whether there is still room. If so, you will receive a reservation confirmation with a request to make a down payment for the trip. If not, we will indicate what possibilities there are still.

2. How can I see the price of my desired trip?

With every travel package on the website, we give a starting price. The exact price of each trip depends on your wishes, such as length, type of accommodation and activities.

To view this price, click 'price inquiry'. You will then automatically enter to our booking program. Go through the steps described in question 1.

Did you fill out everything? Then you will get a complete overview of your trip with the package for each guest and the corresponding price.


3. How can I see the availability of a trip?

Once you place a booking request we will start requesting the accommodation(s). If the trip is available, you will receive a confirmation email after 1 to 10 business days.

If the trip cannot be confirmed, we will contact you to discuss possible alternatives.


4. Where can I see what is included in my trip?

On each trip's page, we describe what elements are included for that package. All trips are personally created by Chill-Outdoor, including accommodations, meals, activities, personal service and fun extras.


5. When and how do I get the travel contract and how can I pay?

After completing the steps outlined in question 1 and receiving a booking confirmation by email, you will be required to make a deposit equal to 30% of the total travel price. Once we receive your deposit, a travel contract will be established with its corresponding terms and conditions. The remaining balance of the travel sum must be paid no later than 6 weeks prior to the day of departure.

If you book a trip within 6 weeks of the departure date, you will be required to pay the full travel amount immediately.

6. Where can I find the information of my booked trip?

In the booking program of Chill-Outdoor we'll create a personal customer portal for each travel party, providing you with online access to view your travel plans and activities on any mobile device at any time.

In your personal customer portal you will find, for example, the dates, start times, gathering locations and required materials of your activities. You can also see which days your meals are included.

You will also receive several messages by email regarding your trip.

Missing travel information or have additional questions? We can be reached at the number 0034-619475516 (also Whatsapp) at any time. We are also present in person at the Chill-Outdoor restaurant for questions during your vacation.


7. Can I cancel my booking?

Once you have placed an application booking, you cannot cancel it free of charge.

If a booker cancels the trip, the following cancellation fees are due:

  • for cancellation more than 2 months before the arrival date: the deposit;
  • for cancellation between 2 months and 1 month before the arrival date: 50% of the travel sum;
  • for cancellation within 1 month before the arrival date: 100% of the travel sum.
  • without cancellation not present at start of trip: 100% of trip cost

Canceling a trip must be done by email from the main booker's email address. The date of receipt of the mail is considered the cancellation date.


8. Can I change my booking?

This depends on the type of change. We explain it item by item:

  • Activities

If you have additional requirements after booking, you can add the activities at no additional cost. We would like to hear what activities you would like to do at least 2 months before arrival.

Want to change your planned activities shortly before your vacation starts? If so, this can only be done in consultation with Chill-Outdoor and if available from our outdoor providers. Keep in mind that in high season (July and August) activities fill up quickly. Cancellations within 24 hours will always be charged at 100%.

  • Meals

(Extra) meals can always be added in the reservation program. Then consider the breakfast buffet (including packed lunch) or the three-course menu of the day. This can also be reserved on the spot if indicated in time (at least one day in advance) and there are tables available in the restaurant.

You cannot eliminate standard meals from the travel package.

  • Accommodation, dates and travel party

Does your wish concern a change in accommodation, departure date or number of participants? Then the following rules apply:

    • After the formation of the travel contract, the booker can request a change. The request will be decided as soon as possible. If the change is possible we will make it for a fee of 50€. If rejected, this will be explained by email and the booker can either maintain or cancel the original travel contract.
    • Does your wish concern a reduction in the number of days you stay with us or the number of participants? The change is considered a (partial) cancellation to which a cancellation fee in accordance with the cancellation conditions applies.

Changes should always be made via email. The date of receipt of the change at Chill-Outdoor is considered a change date.


9. Where can I view the terms and conditions?

These are on our website, view the general terms and conditions.

1. Does Chill-Outdoor also arrange the trip to Spain?

The trip to Spain must be arranged by the visitor. However, we can help advise you on the best route to take. The two easiest options are to go directly by car or fly into one of the four nearby airports and rent a car there.

We recommend that you have a car on site with us, this is because in some cases you have to drive yourself a bit to the various outdoor activities.

2. We are flying to Spain, then what is the best way to travel to the Chill-Outdoor location?

The following airports are near us (time in hours by car to PerarrĂșa):

    • Girona: 03:12
    • Barcelona: 02:41
    • Reus: 02:13
    • Zaragoza (only from Brussels-Charleroi): 01:56
    • Bilbao: 04:32
  • From all these airports it is possible to rent a car, often available at an attractive price. Note conditions such as mileage limit and required deposit.
  • For groups of 6 or more we can provide cab transportation from the various airports, this is possible from € 85, - pp.
  • From Barcelona Sants, you can travel to Barbastro by bus. There you then transfer to the bus to PerarrĂșa. From Zaragoza, no transfer is necessary and you can visit your desired location in the valley in one trip.
  • Are you coming by cab or bus? Keep in mind that some outdoor activities require your own on-site transportation.

3. I'm driving an electric car, can I charge it on site?

On several of our locations we have charging stations:

  • PerarrĂșa: 3 charging stations available. These are not fast chargers, but you can leave the car parked overnight to ensure that your car is fully charged by the next day.
  • Campo: hotel Cotiella in Campo features fast chargers.
  • Benasque: If staying in CastejĂłn de Sos or Benasque, you can use the fast chargers in Benasque in the riverfront parking lot.
  • SesuĂ©: also the campsite in SesuĂ© has fast chargers.

Through the charge finder you can check the electric chargers available in the area.


4. Do you also offer trips for single travellers?

In our booking program, we offer our trips starting from 2 people. However, for some trips it is possible to book the package for one person. Please contact us by email if you are interested. We will contact you as soon as possible to talk about the possibilities with you.


5. Can my dog travel with me?

On a limited number of trips, if communicated at the time of booking, it is possible to bring the dog. Pets are allowed at the **hotel in CastejĂłn and the Boutique Pension in PerarrĂșa.

There are almost always additional fees/conditions associated with bringing dogs. These rules are established by the accommodations.

Please note that in Spain, dogs must be leashed at all times in public areas and national natural parks.


6. Can I offset the emissions from my trip?

When you book with Chill-Outdoor, we take care of offsetting the entire carbon emissions of your trip, including all activities. We do this by donating to Trees for All, an organisation that plant trees all over the world. This is already included in the price of your travel package, so you won't need to pay anything extra as a guest.

Furthermore, if you want to offset the carbon emissions of your flight separately from your trip with Chill-Outdoor, you can do so while booking your flight. During the booking process, the CO2 emissions of your flight will be calculated, and you will have the option to offset them. The small fee (only a few euros) will be added to the total cost of your booking automatically.

7. We are travelling with a large group, what are the options?

For groups of 6 or more, we offer customised packages in addition to our existing travel packages. The chill and outdoor activities in this area are endless. This allows us to tailor the activity schedule entirely to the wishes of the group.

  • We partner with several local accommodations, restaurants and outdoor businesses. We can accommodate groups of up to 150 people.
  • If required, we provide group transportation by bus or cab from the airports of Girona, Barcelona, Reus and Zaragoza.

8. What documents and insurance do I need for my trip?

Each participant is responsible for carrying the necessary documents, such as a valid passport or identity card. Also remember to bring your health insurance card.

The booker is expected to take out an adequate accident insurance and/or travel insurance before travelling. We also highly recommend purchasing a cancellation insurance when booking your trip.

Are you a member of a mountain association? If so, you may be eligible for a discount on your overnight stay in a mountain hut. Please let us know if you are booking a mountain hut trek so that we can take this into account with the booking process.


9. Where can I read experiences of other travelers?

Our guests leave reviews on Google, Tripadvisor and Facebook. Some are written by (Spanish) restaurant visitors, other comments are from guests who have traveled through Chill-Outdoor and/or vacationed at one of our locations. Read more about it on one of our review pages:

10. What should I do if I am not satisfied or have a complaint?

We make every effort to provide a professional and dedicated service. However, if for any reason you are dissatisfied or experience any issues during your trip, we encourage you to contact us immediately. Our team is committed to finding a swift resolution on the spot. You can reach us at 0034-619475516 (also Whatsapp). Additionally, we are available in-person at the Chill-Outdoor restaurant throughout your stay.

If, unfortunately, we are unable to find a suitable solution during the trip, we will contact you afterwards to arrive at a mutually agreeable solution. 

1. What is a full board package?

Full board includes breakfast, (packed) lunch and a three-course dinner on several days during your stay.

Are you staying in PerarrĂșa? Then meals will be served at the Chill-Outdoor restaurant. Breakfast in buffet-style will be served every morning, where you can also prepare your packed lunch to take with you during your day's activity. In the evening, our chef surprises you with a Spanish three-course menu.

Are you staying outside PerarrĂșa? Then your meals will be served at different locations. These locations are described in your personal customer portal.


2. Is the full board package included in all travel packages?

Most of our trips include full board as a standard feature. You get a taste of Spanish cuisine. After a day of adventurous activities you don't have to worry about shopping and cooking!

Some of our accommodations are an exception. For example, when booking on of the apartments, holiday homes and camping pitches, you can choose whether to add the full board package or not.

Check with your desired accommodation to see what meals are included.


3. When is the Chill-Outdoor restaurant open?

In PerarrĂșa, we work with a low, mid and high season:

  • Low season: in April to June we are open weekends
  • Mid-season: in the May and fall vacations, early July and late August we are open mornings and evenings during the week and all day on weekends
  • High season: from mid-July to mid-August we are always open

Our full board packages are tailored to these opening hours. Are you coming in the off-season, for example? Then full board is offered by default on weekends. In mid season and high season, the full board package is included as standard on different days, depending on your chosen accommodation.

Are you travelling with a big group? Different opening hours may apply.


4. Is it possible to specify dietary requirements?

Certainly! You can specify these preferences for each guest when completing your web check-in through your personal customer portal.

If you book a travel package with full board, you will be served a three-course menu of Spanish cuisine on several days. In the kitchen, we are now well able to accommodate most allergies (lactose, nuts, gluten) and vegetarian requirements.

Do you have very specific diets or eat only vegan? Then, unfortunately, we cannot fully guarantee these wishes in our full board package. Feel free to contact us about your options or consider a trip without full board.

1. How large are the plots?

All plots are between 75 mÂČ and 105 mÂČ and have their own electricity connection. So even with larger vehicles you can camp with us. Please mention the type of vehicle in the comments of your booking to be sure, so we can take this into account with scheduling.


2. Do you have a swimming pool at the campsite?

There is no swimming pool at the campsite. Just a 5-minute walk from the campground, you can take a refreshing dip in the river. In addition, we have set up an overview of nice swimming spots in the valley.


3. Are dogs allowed in the campground?

Dogs and other pets are not allowed at the Chill-Outdoor campground.


4. For how many people is the safari tent?

The safari tents can accommodate 4 to 5 people. The safari tent has a total of 5 beds divided into 2 sleeping quarters. One has a double box jumper, the other a bunk bed with an extra extension bed underneath.

Are you coming with a family of 6? With one of our safari tents it is possible to add your own hiker's tent. If desired, please indicate this in the comments of your booking. We will then check availability.


5. How is the safari tent equipped and what should we bring ourselves?

Beds are made upon arrival for the number of people booked, including 2 towels per person. In the kitchen unit, there is a small refrigerator, a Nespresso machine, and a kettle, as well as crockery for 5 people.

6. Are there any special activities or events in PerarrĂșa?

During the middle and high seasons, we organise a variety of activities. These include live music or a DJ on the terrace of the Chill-Outdoor restaurant, padel tournaments with locals, and wine tastings to name a few.

Additionally, the annual village parties take place on the weekend closest to July 26th. During those Friday and Saturday nights, there will be music lasting into the late hours of the night, which can be heard from the campsite. While it can be a real fun local experience, if you prefer a quieter atmosphere, it might be wise to consider coming a bit earlier or later, if your schedule allows.

1. If my desired travel package indicates 'sample rate based on canyoning and rafting' what does this mean exactly?

Our sample prices for multi-adventure trips are based on two outdoor activities being included. To provide an accurate representation of the cost, canyoning and rafting are listed as examples. However, when making a reservation, you can select any activity you would like to participate in.

You can choose from all of the activities listed on our activities page, and the price of your travel package in our reservation system will be automatically adjusted to reflect your selections.


2. I'm not sure which activities my travel party and I want to do yet. When do we need to make a decision?

We recommend that you book your outdoor activities right along with your booking. That way, you can be sure that you can get to the relevant activities.

Don't know yet which activities you want to book when booking? You can choose your activities up to two weeks before arrival. If you make your reservation within 2 weeks before arrival, you have to book your activities right away.


3. The multi-adventure program mentions 'includes rafting / canyoning / MTB', but we're interested in different activities. Is it possible to make changes?

The activities listed in the travel package are provided as examples to give you an idea of the pricing. Canyoning and rafting are frequently requested activities, which is why they are used to estimate the price. However, when making a reservation, you can select any activity you would like to participate in. Simply choose the activities you are interested in from our activities page, and the price of your travel package will be adjusted accordingly.


4. Can I book more activities on the spot?

This is possible, subject to availability. However, please note that during peak vacation periods, many activities tend to fill up quickly.

To ensure that you get to participate in the activities of your choice, we highly recommend planning your itinerary in advance and booking your activities as early as possible.

5. Are all materials included in the outdoor activities and what should I bring my own?

All technical equipment needed for the outdoor activities is included in the activity package. This includes climbing harnesses for via ferratas, wetsuits for canyoning, and climbing shoes for rock climbing.

Prior to your holiday, you can check your personal customer portal to see which items you need to bring yourself for each activity.


6. We have several activities included in our package, when do these activities take place?

Once we receive your booking, including desired activities, we will create a customised itinerary for you and your travel group. This means that we look at spreading activities over the holiday. We also try to compose groups of similar levels and ages.

Please note that some activities are weather-sensitive (especially paragliding and canyoning), so activity dates may be subject to change at the last minute.


7. I have not booked my trip with Chill-Outdoor, can I also book activities separately through Chill-Outdoor?

Booking activities separately through Chill-Outdoor is only possible if you visit our information point in the Chill-Outdoor restaurant on-site. Please keep in mind that activities often fill up quickly during high season. For guests who have not booked their trip with Chill-Outdoor, we charge a 10€ booking fee per activity. For example, if you want to go rafting and MTB with your family, it will cost 20€ in reservation fees.

1. When is the best time to do the hut tour?

The best time for a hut-to-hut trek in the Pyrenees is from late June to the end of September. Some routes may also be possible earlier or later in the season, such as the two-day treks. This depends on snow conditions along the trail and whether the mountain huts are open. For each trek, we indicate the best time of year to do it.

Did you know that the two-day trek at the foot of the Aneto can also be done in winter and early spring on snowshoes, accompanied by a mountain guide?


2. Is it possible to do a hut tour with young children?

We offer several family-friendly hut-to-hut treks, perfect for introducing kids to mountain hiking in the stunning Posets-Maladeta Nature Park. Along the way, you'll experience the charm of staying in a real mountain hut. For each tour, we provide a recommended age range to help you choose the best option for your family.

3. Can my dog come along on the hut tour?

Dogs are not allowed in the mountain huts. You can opt to stay in on of our accommodations in the high mountains and take various day trips with your dog. Please keep in mind that in Spain's national and nature parks, dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.


4. Is it possible to start or end the hut tour with a hotel stay?

A hotel night after completing the trekking is included as a standard feature on several of our hut tours. A hotel night prior to the hut tour can always be added additionally to the booking.


5. Is it possible to do the hut tour alone?

The hut-to-hut treks can also be booked for one person. Please indicate this to us by sending an email to info@chilloutdoor.es. However, for safety reasons, we always recommend doing multi-day hikes with someone else.


6. Where can I park my car (with my luggage) when hiking the hut tour?

Our tours begin at several parking areas in the Benasque Valley, all of which we know to be secure for parking your car. If you're staying at the hotel the night before your tour, you can also store your travel luggage or valuables here, if needed.
