Route
Check out the different ways to reach us below. The most convenient options are:
- Directly by car
- Fly to one of the four nearby airports and rent a car
We highly recommend that you have a car during your stay as some of the outdoor activities require self-driving. Alternatively, you can reach us from Barcelona or Zaragoza by bus. If needed, we can also arrange for taxi transportation from any of the mentioned airports.

The airports of Girona, Barcelona, Reus, Zaragoza and Bilbao are near to our valley.

- Girona Airport - Perarrúa (306 km) 3h12 | 4h00 to Castejón de Sos | 3h54 to Aínsa

Renting a car in Spain is often available at an attractive price point, especially during the low season. Take a look at, for example:
The petrol and diesel prices are also still affordable in Spain.
Note: When renting a car, carefully read the reservation terms, such as fuel policy, mileage limits, number of drivers, insurance coverage, and the name on the reservation (which should match the name on the Visa card)
Routes
Almost all routes from the UK to Spain require crossing the English Channel to Calais, which can be done either by taking a ferry from Dover or using the Channel Tunnel.
To navigate your way to us, you can make use of the following links, which provide directions via Google Maps to the villages where some of our accommodations are located:
- United Kingdom (London) - Perarrúa: as from 15 h 13 min (869 miles)
- United Kingdom (London) - Castejón de Sos: as from 14 h 51 min (852 miles)
- United Kingdom (London) - Aínsa: as from 14 h 10 min (850 miles)
Crossing the Pyrenees
It's worth noting that when coming from France, to head to Perarrúa and Castejón de Sos it's advisable to take the Vielha tunnel rather than the Bielsa tunnel. To head to Aínsa we recommend the Bielsa tunnel. While both routes offer stunning views, the Bielsa tunnel involves more winding roads and steeper elevation changes. It's important to be aware that not all navigation systems provide accurate information regarding this.
Electric car
Are you driving an electric car? Perfect! We have charging points at various locations in the valley:
- Perarrúa: we have 3 charging points available for electric cars. These are not fast chargers, but you can charge your car overnight while parked, so that it is fully charged again the next day.
- Campo: hotel Cotiella has charging points available.
- Benasque: if you're staying in Castejón de Sos or Benasque, you can use the fast chargers in Benasque at the parking lot by the river.
- Sesué: the campsite in Sesué features a fast charger.
- Aínsa: our accommodations in Aínsa provide two electric car chargers.
For groups of six people we can provide taxi transport from the different airports, this is possible from € 85,- pp. Please note that some outdoor activities require on-site transportation as well.
Train
Unfortunately, we are not very easily reachable by train. It’s fairly easy to reach Barcelona or Toulouse by train, but for the last bit of the journey to the Pyrenees, you’ll still need a bus or rental car.
Please keep in mind that some outdoor activities require on-site transportation.
Bus
Check the (English) website of the bus company Avanza for the schedule to and within our valley. Reservations can be made online at: www.avanzabus.com.
Note: the Avanza website only works outside Spain if you set your VPN to Spain. You’ll need to download a VPN service for this.
Bus services to our locations in the Pyrenees:
- From Barcelona Sants, take the Avanza bus to Barbastro. From there, transfer once to another Avanza bus to your destination in Perarrúa, Aínsa, Castejón de Sos, or Benasque.
- From Zaragoza, no transfer is needed, and you can travel directly to these locations with an Avanza bus.
