Clue 6 - Ésera River

The Ésera River originates in the Maladeta massif, at an altitude of 2,500 meters. From the high mountains the Ésera makes its route towards the foothills of the Pyrenees. Along its journey, it passes through several charming villages, including Benasque, Sahún, Campo, Perarrúa ;) and Graus.

And did you know that the Ésera River...?

... Could be even larger if a part of its water didn't disappear into the 'Forau de Aigualluts.' The water flows through a waterfall into the 'forau' (= hole in Aragonese) and it resurfaces in the Aran Valley.

... Carved deep and incredibly beautiful gorges such as the 'Congosto de Ventamillo' and the 'Congosto de Olvena.' You'll likely drive through them (or already have) on your way to your outdoor adventure. The drive itself is a sightseeing activity already!
